Nice staff nice atmosphere, pretty busy most of the time. I would suggest to call and make an appointment instead of walk-in service, as you could be waiting up to 3 hours or longer to see a DR.

I was in a MVA and was brought to the Tofino Hospital then next 3 visits at Tonquin Medical--I can not say enough good things about the staff and how they made a rather nasty situation somewhat bearable. They were kind, considerate, comapssionate. I cannot thank the doctors and nurses enough. Tonquin Clinic is very accessable and when I was waiting my turn to see the doctors, many travellers with assorted problems popped in for treatment and were all received with open arms and quick medical care. The hospital has the minimum required x-ray machines etc. I wish I could wave a wand and give them all the necessary machinery they need but wow--what they do with what they have is impresive. Thank you!
