The pasta at Old Spaghetti Factory is good to eat and you get decent value for the money. The pasta can tend to be ordinary from the perspective of the selections but they put together good food and they offer a fun atmosphere and decor that makes them a good family restaurant for when you are downtown with your family. We ate at Rosie's on Robson while on vacation in Vancouver. We stayed at the Westin a few blocks up the street the location seemed convenient. Rosie's markets itself as a British pub style eatery with a good selection of draught beer. When we got seated at our table, the temperature was very warm. The staff claimed the air conditioning at the maximum level but we found that hard to believe. The decor also appeared to be quite outdated. When our food arrived, the veggie burger was found to be slightly under-cooked. The spring rolls were very good but the portion size was small (2 rolls cut into halves). My bruschetta was very good and the portion was decently sized.
Although the restaurant was not terrible, I would not recommend it due to the quality of the food and the atmosphere.

Earl's has consistently good food and service in a fun (legs showing) and comfortable atmosphere. You get great value for your money, and that's why we go back again and again. That and the blondes in heels. This is our favourite Earl's.
Parking is easy in the small free parking lot or in the metered spaces nearby. Love the girls eating there too. Altho I went with my blonde mama
