We spend out summers at Bobcaygeon and visit Cody's with friends and family as often as possible. Wish there was chinese food 1/2 as good available in Burlington where we spend the winter. Their Lemon Chicken is to die for and we also all love the Shrimp and Peaches. The servings are so generous we always have lots to take home and enjoy the next day.

This friendly, greek inspired, restaurant is a great place to stop in to and have a relaxing meal. The pizza is the best in the area and the Red Ale from Church Key Brewery is reason enough to return! I've eaten here 3 times, tried something different each time, and will continue to frequent this jewel of Lakefield. I found out about it through a recommendation from a local resident.

This is my go to place for fish and chips. The chips are made from scratch and fried to perfection. The halibut is battered perfectly - not too thick, not too thin. Even the coleslaw is fresh tasting and flavourful. The prices are very reasonable and worth every penny.

Have lived in the area for years and Slurp n Burp has always been my favorite spot for breakfast. Good food, good service, bottomless coffee and fabulous location with outdoor patio overlooking lake. Technically a greasy spoon but they don't get any better than this. Largely a secret of the locals.

Stopped here on Dec 30, 2023. The staff were run off their feet!! beyond crazy busy. I felt bad adding my order to their hectic day. My food was hot and not mixed up how I don't know but it wasn't. THANK YOU! I will say that it needs to be updated. Very dirty looking.

Wow! What a treat. We had driven by the place over and over again and there was always cars parked there no matter the time of the day and now I know why! The menu, which consists mostly of the good old hardy foods - meat and potatoes stuff - is absolutely fantastic. We were always searching for a great place to eat in Peterborough that we both could love and coming up short. We have found a great love in Uncle Georges. Sometimes the wait staff is not as good as other times, but the meal is always outstanding. We have been there 4 times in the past 4 months and love it. We will be back. Whether or not the menu changes in the summer I don't know but the prime rib is absolutely to die for.

We recently spent a most enjoyable week at this vacation site and came away quite impressed. If you are looking for a real cottage experience without sacrificing basic comfort and convenience, then give this resort a try. Stunning views of Rice Lake, consistently good fishing and frequent wildlife sightings made our visit both memorable and worthwhile. This is one of the best restaurants we have been to. The atmosphere is friendly, there is always something that everyone can enjoy whether you're 60 or 4 years old. if it's not on the menu, their wonderful chef and staff will make sure that you have what you would like. the service is warm and friendly and they remember your name. The prices are reasonable and the food is perfectly prepared.

We ordered the Beef tenderloin crostini, pork belly, baby back ribs, and black cod. The pork belly was the crispest and least fatty that I've ever had, it was spectacular. The flavors on the crostini were very good, the cherry chutney and dijon aioli went very well together. And the ribs... much better than any I've had at a Ribfest. My GF said the black cod was the tastiest fish she had ever had. The ambiance is nice cottage country, the dining room intimate with only four tables. A definite repeat!.
