Chris recommended a specific paint for the exterior which has extended the life of the wood siding and made the cottage look brand new. We (myself and my daughters) stopped by on route from the Ottawa to home (Hamilton) on Sunday August 8th to order take out. Our family has stopped at the Gateway Restaurant for decades to enjoy their always delicious family style meals. We ordered club sandwich platters and a BLT platter- sooooo delicious as always. The staff provided the utmost attention to care with preparing our takeout food under the covid precautions. Until our next trip and thank you.

We got our gas here today and filled our propane tank for the BBQ,Very Friendly Service. The girl inside at the cash was also very Friendly and Cheerful. We just moved here from Pickering, Ontario. This is going to be our Filling Station from now on.

Beautiful, heritage house museum. A real gem. Preserving house museums is of such great importance in preserving knowledge of how we lived in the past, and in teaching about our heritage and history as Canadians. My husband and I visited this lovely museum upon arrival in our move to Belleville. We now return once a year.
