The Decor is fantastic. Tables and chairs are well-constructed, and the lighting sets a charming mood.
The food is well-prepared and fresh. Honey Garlic Sesame Chicken (not quite General Tao, but close enough) was very crunchy and well-textured. They used real honey so the sauce on the chicken was thick and rich. The beef rollover was good and cooked well but could have had a bit more sauce in it, a little dry to chew and swallow. The real treat was the soup-filled pork dumplings which exploded with flavour every time.
This is an active and busy restaurant, so be prepared for lots of people eating and settling at tables. The staff works to clear the tables quickly, but they can sometime seem abrupt in their manner. Washroom has modern fixtures and is kept clean.

This is one of my favourite Chinese restaurants because of the food alone. Sure the service is nothing to write home about, and the atmosphere is just above par- I go here for the food! Their peking duck is great, the fried beef with broccoli is even better and the braised tofu dishes are awesome as well. Highly recommended.

I had an excellent experience working with Sheraz Shafiq from Akal Mortgage Inc. He was incredibly proactive and ensured I stayed organized throughout the entire process. A few years ago, came in with an infected tooth. I was in pain. The dentist on staff was actually an Endodontist. Told me upfront they could take it now NOW. I despise extractions. The tooth was pretty rotten but he got it out in three pieces quickly and easily and I even held the male assistants hand (because I was obviously anxious). It was as good experience, good extraction. I have always had exemplary work done at this clinic.

While the initial experience was poor, Mr Handyman has bent over backwards to fix and remedy the situation. They have since come by and made good on repairs and made good on my poor experience. Not often contractors care about their reputation, but Mr Handyman obviously does.... I will call again going forward.
