Okay, I realize that there are not a tonne of public, and for that matter private, courses in the city but you could easily include any of the courses in the 'burbs and still call this the best course. Fraserview was once considered for the PGA tour and would have been used had the city let them lengthen a couple of holes. Oh well, perhaps this keeps this gem of a course a little less busy. Perched high up from the Fraser River you would never know you are smack dab in the middle of a major residential area of the city of Vancouver. Challenging and beautiful this course has another major thing going for it...the green fees. They are so reasonable it is shocking and particularly if you are playing with a junior the rates are very reasonable. The clubhouse is also excellent and offers a wide variety of food and drinks that you can enjoy on the patio while watching players come home on 18...for my money the most challenging hole on the course...but that may be because I lose a ball in the ravine every time I play there! If you are a golfer you HAVE to play Fraserview.

I wanted noodles and this did the trick. Beef yakisoba. All hot items are made to order fresh with your choice of protein and choice of noodle. I just love the teriyaki sauce and with restraint I did not ask for more. The food is prepared fairly quickly on their grill.

They have a lot of variety compared to other Zara store and the staff is so nice, especially there is one guy Ayush who was super helpful to me and helped me alot with my shopping and finding my sizes and clothes. I came in looking to buy a violin, and Rino showed me around and let me play everything in the shop, even instruments wildly out of my price range, just for the experience. As an advanced student, just a few weeks of practicing on this instrument has completely transformed my playing, and I deeply regret the literal years I wasted being held back by a poor instrument.
Rino is the most prestigious luthier in Vancouver and he actually knows what he's doing. Highly recommended.

A local furniture restorer suggested Acacia to replace the caning on a stool. I emailed Steve, with a photo of the stool, and he telephoned me back with an estimate.
We were travelling to Vancouver on an afternoon ferry, and needed to drop the stool off in the evening. Steve accommodated this, which I really appreciated as we were flying early the next morning.
On our return 12 days later Steve had the stool all done, excellent job with the caning nice and tight. He also had rounded off the edge of the wood under the caning, which was too sharp and probably the reason the old caning failed in the first place.
I would certainly recommend Steve and Acacia.

Would highly recommend SMT backflow testing. Steve came out the same day and fixed our leaking backflow for our irrigation system. He was fairly priced and very professional.

I have been to Cho Sun Bbq a number of times for Birthdays etc.
The food portions are generous and very well priced compared to
other Korean Bbq restaurants in the area that I have been to. The food is good and the condiments are varied. I find this spot always busy which is a good indicator as to the quality of the restaurant. The service is fair and I find the staff polite and friendly.

This team installed exterior and interior glass railings in my house and from their first visit I felt like I picked the right company. Zaid and his team worked hard, didn't talk much and built lovely railings on my patios and inside my home. I touch the railings every day and I love them all. Solid and beautiful product.
