I've eaten here many times since moving to the area and have introduced several friends to it now too.
It's a small little place with a hockey theme. The booths are kind of small and can be a little claustrophobic, but there are tables out in the open area as well.
The food is usually really good. I recommend their nachos. These are not your usual nachos, but are made with cross-cut potatoes with your nacho fixings on top (beef, jalapenos, cheese, olives, peppers). If you're not a big eater, just have this appetizer and you'll be full.
The salads are fresh and there are usually some creative things on the specials board. Soups are good and homemade.
And if you're a hockey fan, you might run into a few of the Owen Sound Attack on occasion too.

A place with "down home old way Vet practise" .. Knowledgeable but Melissa and staff treat us like family. Safe care you can trust. Met Mellissa with Leenie #3, and now Phoeline #4 .. My wife and I always get the bacon blue cheese burger and another choice and split and share them. The Burger is homemade and yummy. We have been there 3 or 4 times while passing though. We will be back.

She is amazing at helping me through any issues I have at any time, and she is always able to send me to the right book when the time comes. I found Beckett tree service in the yellow pages. I phoned and left a message and was pleased when I got a reply that evening. Matt gave me a time that he would come to give me an estimate and he showed up right on time. He then gave me a time to get the job done and himself and two others showed up did exactly what was expected and did a great job with the clean- up. Thanks guys. I will know who to call next time. It's a new business, give him a chance. ??

The fries are really good, the service was fine, but this place is a dump! I grew up in Port Elgin and this place has never changed(maybe that's a good thing). The doorway is very low(I really had to duck-down to get inside). I think the tables are the same ones used back in the 70's. "The good old Harbourlite" -many memories.
