Good variety of foods like beef asian noodles, nachos, sandwiches and more but some of their appetizers lack the wow factor like garlic fries with small portions and small sized tidbits of french fries. The southwestern bowl is one of my favorites and my wife always orders nachos. Prices are a little stiff like other locations but we've gone to Maple Ridge and Langley several times. August 11, 2020. my 15 year old grandson and his 14 year old girlfriend went for dinner tonight to celebrate their first anniversary. I called the restaurant and asked the manager to try and make the evening special for them. The staff did a wonderful job and they both enjoyed their evening. Took my 3 grown kids for lunch today. Food was delicious- so fresh and the portions were huge! Service was great as usual. It was nice that due to Covid the restaurant was quieter. I realize I didn’t notice the voice calling out the orders over the intercom today. Maybe they have done away with that. I hope so. Food was made fresh, tasted great. I just wish that the employees double check the order. I didn't get my apple turnover, that I ordered and paid for The staff were all standing at the front, in a huddle, talking. The young lady that took my order asked if I'd like my root beer in a mug, while I waited for my order. Which would be about 12-15 minutes, then she would put it in a cup to go and refill it. This air conditioned five star family run restaurant with a warm atmosphere in Burnaby serves the very best dishes at reasonable pricing. The serving staff is wonderful, the chef and his crew are top notch. I don't normally write reviews but in this case it was well deserved. My wife and I ate at this restaurant and like most were blown away by the customer service we received. They greeted us first by opening the door for us, checked on us during our meal to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, and thanked us at the end for coming and opened the door for us when we were done.
