After upgrading my electrical panel AND having a leaky bathroom, I was left with several messy holes in my walls and ceiling. Josh and his son came by today and made short work of that. I cannot praise them enough for the great work they did. My walls and ceiling look terrific! They were in and out in record time and cleaned as they worked, very professional! This store is just the right size for me to get around and both the staff and customers are really helpful when I have a problem finding something or reaching and lifting. And I particular like that they have carry-out which is great especially for the senior population (like me), I love my Sobeys.

I'm a mechanic myself,due to chronic illness and no longer having the proper facility I've been paying others to do more and more of my auto repairs of late. I'll say this, it's in the small details that Walter has shown himself to be a knowledgeable, competent and most importantly, honest mechanic. If I can't do it myself then he's the guy. Rates are very fair. His debit terminal was down on one visit, he told me to bring the money by later, in today's world, that's a rare one. 10 stars+++

I lived in Nova Scotia many years ago and I was referred to Chris by a co-worker. They had a one acre fenced run for the dogs and she was a breeder for Shelties. My beagle had a BFF among Chris' shelties and would run all day in the enclosure. I would board my dog there when I went out of town on business. I always told people that I KNEW my dog did not miss me when she was at Wyndenfog Kennels because she was too busy having fun.

First time to visit. Solomon Grundy as a starter, Yummy! One kid had fish and chips, he loved it. The other had the meat balls and spaghetti, very little left, but then she is only six and it was a big plate. Maple Salmon was excellent, cooked perfectly, although I found it a little sweet, but I have no sweet tooth. The Scallops Marsala looked amazing and my wife would not share. The wife and kids devoured the desert leaving few crumbs behind.
Will definitely visit again!

What a view and what a menu.
I am allergic to gluten and there was so much on offer.
This is a unique spot.And we need the unique owner run spots where care is taken with the menu.
Good hiring skills on someones
I chose a shrimp poor boy special. Which was layered with plump shrimp tomatoes cabbage and mayo.
Served with home roasted potato wedges. Plenty of delicious food. Perfect portion size. Friendly informed staff too.

This is one of my favourite pubs in Nova Scotia. The spectacular view of Mahone Bay from the patio never fails to brighten my day. Gaze at the majestic, and well photographed, "3 Churches on the Ocean" and the sailboats floating by.
I've been here at least 20 times over the last 20 years and the Mug & Anchor never fails to impress. The atmosphere is good old down home Nova Scotian. The staff are always great and the food is consistently excellent and good value.
