On Sat 270419 the TD branh in SELKIRK MB.refused to take my cheque for Income Tax owing because I did not have an acct there. CRA says any bank can accept your payment regardless of where your acct is. MY last three payments for income tax owing have been at financial institutions where i had no account. Today I payed my income tax owing at a credit union with no acct there and that is common practice at other institutions. The tellers who served me offered no help or offered alternate soluti

Wow, Catfish Inn has made a real turnaround - I stopped in for lunch and had the best burger and fries that I've had in a good, long time. It's usually my tester dish to see how good a restaurant is, and they passed with flying colors! Got to meet Nick, the new manager who Just came from Rae & Jerries in Winnipeg , and it seems he's got the place running like a top. Great food, great atmosphere, and well, I loved it. ;)

We try to get to Barney's every couple of weeks. The food is really good. I love the home made fries. Of course everything is home made. The desserts are fabulous although I usally have to take mine home. I have tried numerous items over the years and have never been disappointed. It's a good idea to make reservations for dinner. The place is always busy.

I don't care what other people say this the best place to go for breakfast, lunch and dinner the place looks super nice and when I sit down at there tables they are nice and clean when I go and order food it takes no time at all and the employees are super nice. Joe and his crew worked for me to replace my water main line. He was prompt at accessing the situation and providing an estimate. Upon acceptance, he got it started the very next day and completed the job on time. All his crew members were very nice and friendly and no one seems to be in a rush to just get over with their job.
They also made best efforts to prevent damage to the stairs and carpet and performed after work cleanup.
I highly recommend them.
