Passing through today with my wife and daughter, hungry so we stopped in. Service was prompt, and actually involved 3 people! I had the pickerel platter (had to prevent myself from saying "It's actually called walleye!"), wife had poutine, and daughter had the soup of the day, hamburger vegetable, and chicken burger. All agreed that it was good. Decor was interesting, and washrooms were very clean. Jake's is currently up for sale; it will be interesting to see what happens here, as the place seems to be a bit of an institution, having been run by the same ownership since 1969.

We enjoyed the Chicago's Spring Feast. on Thursday the 25 april. 8 great items from appetizer to dessert Spring rolls great. Red Curry Beef was excellent. Second time for us and surely will attend and enjoy again. Hosts Ed and Helen. very cordial and welcoming. . Service was excellent as well.

My husband and I were excited to learn that they offered dim sum on weekends and we were not disappointed when we went last Saturday.
The items we ordered were served quickly, they were hot and most were really tasty. The only thing neither of us really cared for was the BBQ pork buns - which weren't bad, we just found them to be a little too sweet. I recommend the fried "triangle" pork dumplings, they were especially delicious!
The atmosphere isn't great but it isn't terrible. I actually appreciated that there was some effort put into the decor (the kimonos as curtains on the booths were a nice touch) but the pine tree air fresheners were a little out of place.
The prices were very reasonable, we ate well and left satisfied for $20 (tax and tip in). We'll definitely try their other dishes, and look forward to returning for dim sum.

Always good! My favorite chineese food, i read some bad reviews, but no one is perfect especially in the food business things can go wrong . Sometimes they have new staff, sometime short staff, i just know even if they screw up my order I will still order from Chopsticks!!!

A+++ From the onset, working with the Estimators and Coordinators and the onsite crew, we received triple A professional service. Dustin and his crew installed soffits, fascia, eaves and capped around the garage doors on our home in Nov 2022, all while dealing with some pretty cold weather. LOVE theyre food! ive been eating here for over 10 years, ive tryed other places, nothing beats golden china! its take out only, great prices, takes about 20 min for pick up, never more than 35 for delivery. good food portions, love them!
