So often people forget to voice the positive!
I noticed that a lot of comments are kind of negative! Yes, DeGroot’s is expensive. I only buy what I can plant myself (not rich) but always have been pleased with their friendly service and guarantees. DeGroot’s is a huge operation. They DO have to pay all their employees a decent wage to run a business of this high standard.

I am a frequent customer of Alternate Grounds Cafe for the last 4 years. The quality and Service has always been exceptional since Brian and Tammy took over, and their staff have always been pleasant and accommodating.
The Soups and Salads are by far some of the best in the city.....they are always fresh and homemade and the prices are cheaper than what you would pay at most places in town.
The Cafe offers full table service on weekends and although in the beginning there were some kinks to work out...they really have a grip on it now. The weekend breakfast specials are fantastic and you can't get them anywhere else in town.
In regards to the previous Review about their "healthy" options......if you actually asked questions you would find that everything is done on "weight Watchers " points system and is all done with low or no fat ingredients, which is a little better than their already healthy regular menu. Please note that you WILL NOT find any kind of deep fried product in this building!!!!!
In the summer and winter the Cafe has an exceptional view of the Sarnia Bay and is always better than looking at some kind of building.
The Daily specials and the once a month dinners the cafe are simply fantastic.
I have never stopped going there and will gladly continue to frequent the restaurant

Had the most exemplary experience at Bluewater Health. Every single point of contact was brilliant. From the people who took my blood, the RPNs, PSWs, and RNs and even the doctors. A special shout out to my two main nurses Elaine and Stacey on Med T who made me feel comfortable and at home. They went above and beyond, I felt like I was staying at a hotel. I hired Amanda two years ago to be my lawyer in Court. She is exceptionally kind, honest and excellent in Court. Sometimes it takes longer to get paperwork than expected. They always have everything I need and their boutique has the latest in all beauty supplies. There are often contests and there are perks often throughout the year with their optimum card. I always get amazing service and the staff have always been friendly and answer every question. They have been helpful even when I might not be purchasing that day. I shop this one more frequent because of perfume and beauty selection but all stores are great.

I visited for the first time on Christmas Parade night. It was packed, fortunately a couple were leaving and we got the only table. That was luck. I was amazed that we were waited on so quickly. food a wrap and fries was delicious along with s glass of white wine. A friendly environment and Staff had an amazing attitude considering it was packed. Way to go and Thankyou for being in the service industry. I will be back.

No surprise filling 2024 taxes was a breeze!!!! With no warning I sent my taxes in Friday afternoon and today they are done. The kicker is I also live just over 7 hours away, I was able to send, receive, and pay all on line and phone.
There was not even a complaint of sending them days before dead line.
Best company to have work for you. Ask for Cindy!!!!!

We went on a Friday night at the place was packed. We did not have a reservation, so we had to sit at the bar. The food was quick to come. The service was attentive, and quick considering how busy the place was. The calamari was not at all greasy, and it came with a tasty lime dipping sauce.
This was my second visit here ever, and once again, the cocktails blew me away. Every single one I ordered was SO tasty. I ordered the girly ones of course, and my boyfriend ordered "For The Boys" and "Farm Dog". They were good too.
