Myself, my husband and our 3 kids went to a competitors bank branch in Airdrie with money in hand to open up savings accounts for each of my kids. Unfortunately, we were told that without an appointment, they couldn't help us out or open new account for us. We left, disappointed, and decided to drop by the Royal Bank branch on main street in Airdrie to see if they could fit us in. While they were extremely busy with many customers in line, a wonderful account manager came and helped us, fit us in right away, and spent an hour with us opening accounts for my kids. She even made the experience fun for them! I was totally impressed. We are transferring all our accounts to this branch. Can't speak highly enough of them.

Barbara Gardner went wayyy over and beyond.
This has always been a fantastic bank. Barb at the front desk is always friendly and helpful. All the staff are super and it's a friendly ambiance.
Anyway we needed to to a legal thingummy, I won't get into the details, but Ms Gardner helped us so much and we were all so impressed by her professionalism and help when we were in a tight spot. Many thanks Barbara!
