My two dogs have enjoyed excellent care at Perfect Place kennels for over 10 years. And the exceptional nature of client service by Steve and Val and their staff was exceeded when I broke my ankle and was unable to care for the dogs.
During my two-month recovery Steve and Val brought the dogs to visit and arranged that they be groomed. The dogs came home they were happy and healthy. They knew the kennel and enjoyed time there in the past so it wasn’t at all a problem for them.

Our chocolate lab was very happy and likes to go there for a short vacation! He comes home happy and I know they treat him right!

This is a fantastic place to leave older dogs. Twilla and her staff will stop at nothing to ensure their comfort and happiness. She sends txt msgs to update, too! She's very encouraging to those of us who are nervous about leaving our dogs.
Jackson is an older dog and had never been left in a kennel before so we were quite concerned but Twilla put our worries to rest and we so appreciate everything she and her staff did for our boy, Jackson. He was nothing less than happy wiggles when we arrived to collect him and when Twilla called him over to say goodbye...he couldn't get to her fast enough. He loves her!! I won't go anywhere else!

I brought my two cats here while we had to be away for a couple of weeks. They were very helpful at explaining their process and resources so I felt very comfortable leaving them there.
They had a large kennel together, so they didn't have to be separated. They were happy and healthy when we picked them up, though really missing our personal snuggles.

We were so impressed with Better Than Home ...it's just about Better Than Home! We love that our two large breed ladies have so much space for excercise and socializing. Gord the owner clearly loves dogs (he has 5 of his own!) and knows how to handle them as alpha. The facilities are new and very clean - the owner's vision is apparent at this perfect locale. My dogs are allowed on my couch and I REALLY loved to see the TV room at Better Than Home where they can cuddle on the couch with Gord or stretch out at his feet and chew a bone. Thank you Gordon and Charity for putting my mind at ease when I have to leave my girls! Audrey

We dropped our pups off while we had a much needed vacation. I’m not a fan of travel, so my dogs have never been kennelled. I was quite nervous to leave them at first, as I wasn’t sure how the dogs would do, but the staff posted pictures that we looked for every day which really helped. The kennels were large and clean, which were great as I have giant breeds.
When I picked my dogs up, they were happy, freshly washed, and looked really good. Thank you so much!

I can be confident that the owner really loves animals and will care for my dogs like her own. She does their grooming as well and always lets me know if something is wrong (like a sore I hadn't noticed). Big plus is the dogs are walked twice a day which some kennels don't do.
