A fantastic restaurant. The service was top-notch. The waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and was a wealth of information when questioned. They were attentive to our every need and ended up making for what has got to be a world-class experience. The food was fantastic and the Chef even shared a complimentary corn soup antipasto with our table... again, it was fantastic! Thanks for your attention to detail and for the great ambiance! I have eaten in most restaurants downtown, and one day decided to try Abruzzo. First impression was that is it a little too old style - decor was quite old fashioned. But over all nice and quiet. The food though makes up for short coming in the decor department. I can't say that they were as good as home made italian food, but came pretty darn close. The new space is lovely- refined but traditional. Tasteful, the art, lighting, linens. Food and wine has always been consistently wonderful. Service is always exceptional, so nice to have professional waiters. Also really appreciate the lovely personal service when making a reservation. amazing baking, and a cozy/consistently impressive restaurant, for good reason (the best customer service). Highly highly recommend all baking (especially the chocolate caramel layer cake!!). They even delivered a couple of cakes when closed for renovations :) Lire plus
