Be aware there's always a waiting line for breakfast at Melissa's. That alone should tell you how good it is. The servers are great and can become overworked especailly in ski season as customers are rushing for breakfast to catch the next bus up to the ski hills. But we don't ski so our server could get a breath and not have to rush. The food is excellent and service is great. The only thing I'd like to see is senior protions of some of the larger breakfasts the Eggs benny come 1/2 portion but none of the other signiture breakfasts do. The prices are excellent given the quality of the food. Bullock's has a relaxed setting on the shores of Back Bay in a Yellowkinfe Heritage Building. A must for Yellowknife residents and visitors. Stopped by here on a road trip in December. As soon as we walked in the guy struck up a conversation and was very friendly. We ordered one piece and fries each. He gave us two good sized pieces and tons of fries. He offered us his “never ending fries”, but with the large portion we did not need to take him up on that. Great food, great service. In Timmins there aren't many places that are different from other cities like McDonald's, but the Fishbowl's food is a must try!! Especially their burger!!! We also had their calamari and stuffed mushroom entree and it is the real calamari not the fake rings you get at other places.... The food is fantastic!! If you want something different and not like a fast food joint then this is the place to go. I bring friends and family from out of town to eat there :) If you go ....... enjoy your meal!
