Called to make an appointment for an etest, after talking on the phone and settling on a time for the next day I got a call back with an opening for that afternoon, I showed up an hour early and it was taken in right away! It was a true pleasure dealing with Hideaway Homes. After looking for a suitable home for months we decided to build instead. With the weather turning we needed to act fast. I've been out on hunts twice now with Brandon. Once field hunting for geese, the other duck hunting in a boat. On both occasions we had our limit by 9 a.m. It's clear to me that Brandon's primary objectives are to have a safe and successful hunt, while sharing his knowledge and expertise with his clients. Played this little gem of a nine holer on September 16th 2016...surprising how lush the fairways were considering the summer we've had and the greens were in impeccable condition...some of the holes made you stop and just take in the beauty before you could put a peg in the ground...as nice a golf course as I've played in years!!...Bravo....coming back soon!

We recently spent a most enjoyable week at this vacation site and came away quite impressed. If you are looking for a real cottage experience without sacrificing basic comfort and convenience, then give this resort a try. Stunning views of Rice Lake, consistently good fishing and frequent wildlife sightings made our visit both memorable and worthwhile. Wow! What a treat. We had driven by the place over and over again and there was always cars parked there no matter the time of the day and now I know why! The menu, which consists mostly of the good old hardy foods - meat and potatoes stuff - is absolutely fantastic. We were always searching for a great place to eat in Peterborough that we both could love and coming up short. We have found a great love in Uncle Georges. Sometimes the wait staff is not as good as other times, but the meal is always outstanding. We have been there 4 times in the past 4 months and love it. We will be back. Whether or not the menu changes in the summer I don't know but the prime rib is absolutely to die for.

We ordered the Beef tenderloin crostini, pork belly, baby back ribs, and black cod. The pork belly was the crispest and least fatty that I've ever had, it was spectacular. The flavors on the crostini were very good, the cherry chutney and dijon aioli went very well together. And the ribs... much better than any I've had at a Ribfest. My GF said the black cod was the tastiest fish she had ever had. The ambiance is nice cottage country, the dining room intimate with only four tables. A definite repeat!.

I live in Buckhorn but drive to Ennismore to get groceries because the service is great, they'll even carry out your groceries, they'll order specific foods for you... they're out of the cut of meat you need... they'll cut it for you! Always clean, neat and staff is pleasant. I love the owners, the always say Hi to me and brighten my day whenever I am there!

This is one of the best restaurants we have been to. The atmosphere is friendly, there is always something that everyone can enjoy whether you're 60 or 4 years old. if it's not on the menu, their wonderful chef and staff will make sure that you have what you would like. the service is warm and friendly and they remember your name. The prices are reasonable and the food is perfectly prepared.
