This is one of the best garages around the OTTAWA area I have ever come across. These guys know their stuff, are honest about their assessments of what has to be done to your car, timely and cost effective. Call them first before trying anyone else.

Was utterly impressed with my recent experience bringing my vehicle into Takaki Automotive for an e-test. Scheduling (and multiple rescheduling) of my appointment was dealt with effortlessly and with a smile by Hiroshi, the owner's son. I was made to feel like I had not inconvenienced anyone and that they would simply re-gig things to accommodate my changing schedule.
My actual appointment was a pleasant experience. I had the opportunity to sit in Takaki's welcoming wait room (where coffee, an aquarium, tv and decorations await) while enjoying my conversation with the friendly receptionist and other staff who would occasionaly venture by. Takaki's team is one big family - happy, respectful and very helpful with all my questions.
I am told Mr. Takaki sr himself is a caring man of many diverse talents. On this visit, the gentleman was busy outside, wielding a huge metal pick to chip ice from the walkway. I hope for the opportunity of chatting with him too, during my next visit.
The fee charged for today's visit was very reasonable; the information provided afterwards was helpful and there was no attempt to "upsell" or solicit additional work. I would highly recommend. this business.

Had a great experience with the staff here, Charles was so helpful and honest about the car (had Midas take a look after and they confirmed) which is so important as this was my first car purchase.

I had both my front ball joints done, a wheel bearing fixed, brakes and had two new tires put on...Unbelievable job and the price was unbeatable. Now I know why my friend recommended this place to me. I'll never go anywhere else again. Once you've had auto repair work done at Beaver Auto you'll see why I took the time to write this review. (I didn't rate convenience at 5 stars because I live in Orleans and they are in the St. Laurent area, but it was well worth the 10-15 minute minute drive)

Just bought a used Audi A6 and 3 months after I purchased the car, my Check Engine light came on and my air conditioning wasn't working properly. I took it my own personal mechanic, they thought they fixed it but it came back on 3 days later. Frustrated, I took it to an Audi dealership while in Toronto on vacation and they wanted to charge me an arm and a leg to diagnose the problem and eventually fix the problem. I wasn't too keen but I agreed, bought a beautiful car, check engine light shouldn't be on bottom line. Two weeks later back in Ottawa my check engine light came back on !!!! Now I was very frustrated. In limbo my car needed an oil change so I took it to Midas on Baseline rd. The mechanic named Alex indicated to me once again the light was on. I said go a head and see if you can fix the problem thinking if Audi can't fix it who can. The Manager said if they can't find the problem they won't charge me for the diagnosis. It was zero risk for me and a win/win for both of us. Alex was able to find the problem and fixed it with my authorization. The light has never come back on again. Turns out the mechanic Alex is an Electrical Engineer who specializes in cars. AND my final bill to fix it was a fraction of what Audi charged me. Alex in my opinion is an electrical genius !! If anyone has eletrical problems take your car to Midas on Baseline Rd in Ottawa and ask for Alex. It will save you alot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$ and frustation.

Midas staff were very friendly. They completed everything in the amount of time they suggested. The price was reasonable and explained (Mike brought me right to my truck and showed me exactly what he was talking about). I would definitely recommend anyone to go to Midas on St. Laurent!
PS: I didn't need to book an appointment and they where able to see me within 10 minutes!!!

I don't take my vehicle anywhere else! It is so difficult to find a mechanic that you can trust! These guys do great work without overcharging! If possible, I always try to arrange maintenance/repairs a week in advance because they are always busy.

I visited Little's on Thursday, February 23rd, 2012 to have my brake pads replaced and a belt squeak checked out. The management and the mechanics were professional and friendly, the prices were very reasonable, and they were able to fix up the car very quickly and on short notice. The final amount was below what was quoted to me and the car is running great. Worth the drive out from Ottawa - I'll be back for sure. Definitely recommend!

Honest and fair. The owner has fixed both my and my husbands cars since he opened several years ago. We have never been disappointed, and he gives us options when they are available. He has even helped us out as he was closing! Thank goodness it was a quick fix!
