The first time I visited Oriental Gardens was around this time last year. I went to lunch with a friend, and loved it! My plate was full and for only $11 It's a cute little place, obviously a family business. Which I love :) I usually order the number 10, along with some egg rolls. Personally, I think their eggrolls are 'Da bomb' Very good food, always hot. I've been reading a lot of reviews about bad customer service. But this has never been a problem for me. The girls are very nice. Though I do agree, that sometimes they are a bit too chatty with each other. Which is why I mostly order take out. I once walked over, and placed an order for take out. The girl said it'd be about 30 minutes. So I sat down and timed them (which I always do) I waited about 45 minutes for my food. But, I didn't blame them because it was very busy. I wouldn't recommend using their bathrooms... It's very dirty in there. I used it once, and swore never again. Overall... Great food! Good service! Awesome prices! Lire plus

Dim sum at the Canton doesn't disappoint. It's always fresh, authentic, and delicious as it should be. My only issue is with the service, which is inconsistent depending on who is serving. The hired staff is preferred over the owners, as they are more friendly and patient with customers. The owner isn't unpleasant per se, but just a little too involved and expectant. Love the restaurant overall, either for dimsum or an authentic Chinese dinner item. The service fades into the background with food that good! Lire plus

Haven't been here for a while and was pleasantly surprised to find that they have redecorated. Replaced a number of tables with booths and that makes it much nicer inside. Food is great. Lots of variety. Excellent prices. The one thing about this place that annoys me is that they never bring your bill to the table -- I always have to go to the cash to find out how much the bill is and pay. The service was very good, they didn't miss one item of about 20 ordered off the all you can eat menu and they were quite pleasant compared to other Sushi restaurants I have visited. Atmosphere was also good, with a choice of open table or booth. I used to drive to Scarborough for good Sushi, I will no longer be making that trip.
