We are regulars at this restaurant so whenever we go out it is usually to this place. The food and service is always great and worth the money. The restaurant itself is old and the front area is not fancy, but it is comfortable and homey and we enjoy eating out there.

I've been to Harry's on multiple occasions with different groups of people. Have been pleasantly suprised each time with great food and excellent service. The pizza is homemade and very tasty. Wings are good, but not their specialty. Pasta is excellent is as well. Beer on tap is fresh (usually have Stella) and haven't had any issues. This is a great place to visit for lunch, after work with the guys (they have pool tables upstairs) or on a date with that special girl. A rare treat!

We have never had a bad meal at Palm Garden. You are greeted as soon as you sit down. Service is reasonably quick and friendly. Recommend the fried chicken. (enough for 2 meals). Nice to have another restaurant in our town.

My friend and I have been to, The Spot Restaurant, 3 times now. Twice during Covid-19. These two times were takeout only, but we did sit at the picnic tables provided. The third time we were allowed to sit indoors. Every time the service has been excellent. The food even better. We plan to visit again.

Went there for lunch today ,Tuesday Sept 11th ,on entering the restaurant immediately noticed how exceptionally clean and tidy it was ,at the time it was easy to get a table as it had just gone 12 in an hour people were waiting for a table it was busy .we had the buffet it was one of the best Ive had in ages food was hot and plentiful and delicious from the first bite to the last .it is worth the drive from Owen sound

I am a local. Truthfully, we havn't eaten at the Bruce in over 6 years. We just didn't like the atmosphere inside for our family. Recently, I heard from a friend that it's improved greatly. So, we decided to give it another try.
Our family went for wing night. We LOVED IT! Wings are big, plump & juicy. The saucy ones (medium & hot) weren't over sauced-just right. The dry rub ones (cajun rub) were delicious! Our daughter ordered chicken fingers & fries. They were not processed chicken fingers; but the real deal-always love to see that. The fries are awesome-FRESH CUT!! Our son ordered the mini burgers & chips. They were yummy! You can't beat homemade burgers.
My only complaint (reason for 4 stars) would be that the waitress could've been a little more attentive. She didn't smile much and at times we wondered if she forgot about us. That being said, it didn't spoil the meal by any means.
We all agreed that we'll be back. Can't wait to go back for kids eat free Sunday. It was so much better than going to our "chain" restaurants. This was all freshly made & delicious. We're so glad we gave the Bruce another try, this is our new favorite supper spot in town.

I should have cooked for myself but I went to the Black Dog &Bistro instead.Had a couple of cold ones and took home the meatloaf sandwich. Awesome choice. Food was second to none. Service was equally the same.Will surely return again.

Have been here before on visits to Stratford. Came here on our wedding day for afternoon drinks and snacks. Food was fantastic, service great and friendly. Meals we've hadbefore has always been great too.
A spot we will make a return to always while we visit Stratford.

While in Stratford to see a play. we dropped in to the Boar's Head Pub. I had been there twice before, and thought my husband would like it too. Since we had had a late lunch we decided to have drinks before the play, and come back afterwards for something to eat.
About 6:30 pm, we ordered draft (a Strongbow for me, and Coors Light for my husband) and then switched to whiskey. I had an Irish coffee (needed the caffeine before the play) and my husband had a rye and coke.
After the play, around 11 pm, we returned. The place was rockin', with a live band and some people who had clearly spent the last 4 hours drinking! It got rather loud, but the music was good.
I had Strongbow, and my husband stuck to rye and coke. The wings were very good -- big, meaty, lightly breaded, and with the right sauce. My husband had honey garlic, and I had hot (the server said it was Frank's Red Hot sauce, which was what I was looking for). There were 7 wings in a one-pound order, with a few carrots and celery sticks and dip, for $8.95 .I would definitely come back for the wings.
The servers were very friendly and attentive during both visits. There were 2 servers who regularly stopped by to check on us, and who made us feel very welcome -- one of them recognized us when we returned, and warned us about the drunks who would be dancing when the band returned from break (she was right!).
As far as pubs go, this one is great -- good food, lively atmosphere, good choice of draft, and great location on one of Stratford's main streets.
The Boar's Head is within easy walking distance of the Tom Patterson Theatre, and slightly farther to the Avon and Studio Theatres.

The menu is not extensive and there was no overall 'theme' but the food we had was pretty good. They recommended a great wine and the waitress was excellent - both friendly and helpful.
We booked at the last minute and were glad we did. Not a fine dining experience if that is what you want but a comfortable experience. We split a salad and the entree portions were a good size. My husband had a Thai noodle type dish and he really enjoyed it. I had the prime rib which came as I requested. We didn't have dessert but marvelled at a couple of plates that went by.

Went there on Mothers Day, considering there was a line up and they were very busy for the bruch time. We got seated quickly and service was fast and friendly. Great food, we were a party of four and everybody enjoyed their food.
Will definetly go back and will recommed this restaurent to everyone.
